Our Most Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Q: Do I need a lawn for the stork sign?
Yes ma’am (or sir), you sure do! We need a good patch of grass in your front yard to anchor the stork nice and steady. We stake it about 10 inches down, so it won’t work on concrete, gravel, mulch, or anywhere too close to utility boxes. Not sure if your yard’ll work? Just give us a holler—we’ll be happy to take a peek and help you out!

Q: When should I go ahead and reserve a Stork Yard Sign?
If you’ve got a scheduled birth or planning a baby shower, gender reveal, or sip & see, it’s best to book ahead of time. But if baby makes an early debut or you’re keepin’ it a surprise, just call us as soon as the little one arrives. We’ll do our best to get your sign up within 48 hours! Q: How long can I keep the Stork Yard Sign?
For new baby announcements, your stork rental runs a full 7 days—plenty of time for neighbors to swing by and admire it! For showers and events, we’ve got shorter rental options too. Just let us know what fits your needs, and we’ll make it happen.

Q: Where do y’all put the Stork Yard Sign?
We usually set the stork front and center so folks passing by can’t miss it! But if you’ve got a favorite spot in your yard, just say the word—we’ll do our best to place it just how you like.

Q: How do I order and pay?
You can fill out our order form online, call or text us at 859-379-9434, or send us an email at hello@storkandsproutdeliveries.com. We take major credit cards via Venmo for payment. Just make sure payment’s in before we schedule your delivery.

Q: Where do y’all deliver?
We’re based right here in Winchester and deliver within 15 miles for Free. If you’re out a bit further (up to 25miles), there is a delivery fee. We take care of the setup and pickup, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

Q: What’s the cost of a stork sign?
Our 7-day rental is $100 for stork rentals with personalized bundles and $85 for those with generic bundles, and that includes a custom keepsake bundle with baby’s name and birth details. Delivery’s is free if you’re within 15 miles of Winchester.

Q: Can I add signs for big brothers, sisters, or fur babies?
You bet! We’ve got sibling stars and pet signs (dog bones and kitty ones too) for just $25 each. They’re personalized and yours to keep once the stork heads home.

Q: What if I’ve got twins or triplets?
No worries—we’ve got more than one stork ready to go! Each baby gets their own stork and custom bundle. Give us a call and we’ll work out a sweet deal for your growing bunch.

Q: Do you offer grandparent storks too?
Yes ma’am! Grandparents can join in the fun with their own stork sign. Rentals start at $85 with a generic bundle or $100 with a personalized one—and yep, the personalized bundle’s yours to keep.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask that payment be made at least 24 hours ahead of delivery or the order may be canceled.

We might also cancel in case of inclement weather – lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rain, high winds, sleet, heavy snow, icy road conditions, or any other act of God that would put my staff in harm’s way.  We will try to reschedule a time (when the weather conditions are better). If we are unable to reschedule the stork delivery, a full refund will be given.

Q: Do you offer refunds?
We sure do. Just cancel at least 24 hours in advance and you’ll get a full refund. We can’t offer refunds if we can’t access the yard due to things like a wrong address, locked gates, no permission, or a cranky pup guarding the spot. But if the weather takes a turn, we’ll gladly issue a full refund.
A $25 re-delivery fee will be charged if we must return to remove, move and re-set up a stork at the correct address.  This also applies if we are unable to gain access to your property and must return at a later day/time.
